The 39th edition of the Grandest Stage of Them All in the history of Wrestling Sports Entertainment is just around the corner. As WrestleMania 39 is just one week away from this Saturday, the hype and craze among the fans of WWE are getting higher. WrestleMania has built careers of Legends and some of them are HulkaMania ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan who was there at the very first WrestleMania in 1985, Mr. WrestleMania ‘Shawn Michaels’ who has been recognized as the showstopper because of his performances at WrestleMania, and The Iconic Streak Holder The Phenom Undertaker.
Let’s take a look back on this epic journey of 38 years that started on March 31, 1985:
WWE WrestleMania 01 (The Greatest Wrestling Event of All Time!)
The first edition of WrestleMania took place at Madison Square Garde (MSG), NY, NJ on March 31, 1985. The main-event headliner of that night was Hulk Hogan & Mr. T (w/ Jimmy Snuka) v/s Paul Orndorff & Roddy Piper (w/ Bob Orton Jr.), where the team of Hogan and Mr. T won by pinfall.
WWE WrestleMania 02 (The Premier Sporting Event of the Year! What the World Has Come To!)
The second edition of WrestleMania took place at three different venues: ‘Nassau Coliseum’, ‘Rosemont Horizon’, and ‘Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena’, each featuring 4 matches on April 07, 1986. The main-event headliners of that night were Mr. T (w/ Joe Frazier) v/s “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (w/ Lou Duva & “Cowboy” Bob Orton) where Mr. T won by 4th round disqualification, The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & The Dynamite Kid) (w/ Lou Albano & Ozzy Osbourne) v/s The Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake) (c) (w/ Johnny Valiant) where The British Bulldogs won, and Hulk Hogan v/s King Kong Bundy (w/ Bobby Heenan) where Hogan won by escaping the cage.
WWE WrestleMania 03 (Bigger! Better! Badder!)
The third edition of WrestleMania took place at Pontiac Silverdome, Pontiac, Michigan on March 29, 1987. The main-event headliner of that night was Hulk Hogan (c) v/s Andre The Giant, where Hogan won and retained WWF Championship Title.
WWE WrestleMania 04 (What the World is Watching!)
The fourth edition of WrestleMania took place at Boardwalk Hall (Promoted as Trump Plaza), Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 27, 1988. The main-event headliner of that night was Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) v/s Ted DiBiase (w/ André the Giant) where Randy won and became WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
WWE WrestleMania 05 (The Mega Powers Explode)
The fifth edition of WrestleMania took place at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey on April 2, 1989. The main-event headliner of that night was Randy Savage (c) (w/ Miss Elizabeth) v/s Hulk Hogan where Hogan won and became WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
WWE WrestleMania 06 (The Ultimate Challenge)
The sixth edition of WrestleMania took place at Skydome, Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 1, 1990. The main-event headliner of that night was The Ultimate Warrior (WWF Intercontinental Champion) v/s Hulk Hogan (WWF Champion) in a Winner Takes All Match where The Ultimate Warrior won.

The seventh edition of WrestleMania took place at Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles, California, USA on March 24, 1991. The main-event headliner of that night was Sgt. Slaughter (c) v/s Hulk Hogan where Hogan won and became WWF Champion.
