WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 1 Results, Match Ratings, and Highlights
Welcome to the BullScore Wrestling News section. In this article, we are going to discuss the highlights and results of Night 1 of the WWE Biggest Event in 2023 (WrestleMania 39). Last night, A father (Rey Mysterio) battled his son (Dominik Mysterio) to teach him the lesson of respect. Also, Queen Charlotte Flair defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship title against Rhea Ripley, Bloodline’s members The Usos defended the Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championship titles against the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and The United States Champion ‘Austin Theory’ defended his title against John Cena.
The overall rating of WrestleMania 39’s Night One was 7.5/10. The Show kickoffs with the United States Championship Match.
United States Championship Match: Austin Theory (c) defeated John Cena
The battle between Cena and Theory was ok but the match got some hype when Cena locked STF (his submission maneuver) to which Theory tapped out but the referee was blinded because of the early attack by theory. Later, theory hit the finisher move and capitalize on it to win the match.
Overall, The kickoff match of the WrestleMania 39’s night one was below the mark. The rating of this match is 3/5
The Street Profits defeated Braun Strowman & Ricochet, Alpha Academy, and The Viking Raiders (Men’s Showcase)
WrestleMania Showcase Men’s Fatal 4 Way Tag-Team Match was up to the mark. All four teams gave their best but the Street Profits capitalized first to win the match and secure their No.1 Contender spot for the Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championship titles.
The overall rating of the match is 4/5.
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins defeated Logan Paul
Seth Rollins took the redemption he said last Monday during Raw. This match was one of the top matches that happened tonight. Logan Paul tried to dominate the match but Rollins was smart enough to capitalize on the moves in his favor and secure the victory.

Becky Lynch, Lita & Trish Stratus defeated Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)
The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions (Lita & Becky Lynch) teamed up with the WWE Hall of Famer Legend Trish Stratus to go against Damage CTRL in a Six-Womens Tag-Team Match. The match was the highlight of the first half of WrestleMania 39’s Night 1. The team of G.O.A.T wins the match and the hearts of the WWE Universe.

Rey Mysterio defeated Dominik Mysterio
Rey battled his own son after facing disrespect week after week and then he decided to teach Dom the lesson of Respect at the Grandest Stage in Sports Wrestling Entertainment (WrestleMania 39). Rey promised during his HOF (Hall of Fame) speech that he will take care of the business on April 1, 2023 (Night 1 of WM).

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair (c)
Rhea Ripley showed one of the best performances of her wrestling career last night on WrestleMania 39 Night 1. She said, she is going to take the championship belt from charlotte and that’s what she did and becomes the New Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Pat McAfee defeated The Miz
McAfee made his in-ring return last night after he interfered the official host of the WWE WrestleMania 39 Miz and his guest Snoop Dogg. Later Snoop Dogg made the match official and the two battled in the short match. During the match, WWE Universe starts the chants of tiny balls.
The overall rating of the match is 3.5/5
Main Event of WrestleMania 39’s Night 1 (Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championship Match): Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defeated The Usos (c)
The team of storyline brothers (Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn) was victorious last night over the real brothers (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso). The match was well performed by all four WWE Superstars and they did real justice to being called the main event. Besides the loss Usos had last night, their journey in WWE has grown from being battled in the pre-show of WrestleMania multiple times to main-eventing WrestleMania 39.
