This Year’s (i.e., Class of 2023) WWE Hall of Fame is going to be organized this Friday Night after the Smackdown telecast at Crypto.com Arena, Inglewood, California, USA. The Streaming of the Hall of Fame Ceremony will be available on USA Network and WWE Network.
LIST OF INDUCTEES IN WWE HALL OF FAME 2023
Rey Mysterio (Real Name: Óscar Gutiérrez)
WWE Announced earlier this month (March 2023) that Rey Mysterio ‘619 Lucha’ is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Konnan will induct him into the prestigious class of WWE.
Rey Mysterio is a former One-time WWE Champion, Two-time World Heavyweight Champion, Two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, Two-time WWE United States Champion, Eight-time WCW/WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Four-time WWE Tag Team Champion, One-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion, Three-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, One-time WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion, and 2006 Royal Rumble winner.
The Great Muta (Real Name: Keiji Muto)
WWE’s two-times Hall of Famer Ric Flair announced earlier this month that The Great Muta will join Rey Mysterio in the WWE Hall of Fame. Ric Flair will induct him into WWE HOF.
He is a former Four-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Three-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, One-time GHC Heavyweight Champion, One-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, One-time NWA Television Champion, One-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, 1992 BattleBowl winner.
Andy Kaufman (Real Name: Andrew Geoffrey Kaufman)
WWE Hall of Famer Class of 2023’s celebrity inductee is none other than the famous comedian and stage artist ‘Andy Kaufman’. WWE announced earlier this month that Jerry Lawler will induct Andy into WWE HOF. Andy’s family will receive the accomplishment on his behalf.
Andy Kaufman was a comedian and actor who rose to fame in the late 70s and early 80s as a star of the TV series Taxi, Kaufman became involved in wrestling by promoting himself as the “Inter-Gender Wrestling Champion of the World”, where he would wrestle against women. This would lead to a feud with Jerry Lawler in the Continental Wrestling Association (CWA).
As part of the feud, Lawler famously slapped Kaufman in the face during an interview on Late Night with David Letterman. He is considered by WWE as one of the first celebrities to cross over into wrestling.
Stacy Keibler (Real Name: Stacy Ann-Marie Keibler)
WWE announced last night on Monday Night Raw (March 27, 2023) that the final inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023 will be none other than former WWE Superstar Diva Stacy Keibler. Mick Foley and Torrie Wilson inducted her into HOF.
Stacy is a former WWE Babe of the Year (2004), Nitro Girl Search winner (1999), and Former Manager of The Dudley Boyz, Scott Steiner, Test, and The Hurricane & Rosey as Super Stacy.
Tim White (Real Name: Timothy Rhys White)
Tim was an American professional wrestling referee. He worked with World Wrestling Entertainment as a producer on the SmackDown brand. During the 1980s and 1990s, White worked as André the Giant’s assistant in addition to his referee duties. JBL and Ron Simmons inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023 as the Warrior Award winner.
