Why the First Hokage of Naruto, Hashirama was the Strongest
By the time the story of Naruto and Nine Tails starts, the first Hokage of the Leaf village was already dead. There are 5 main villages in the story of Naruto and every village has one main leader and protector. For the Leav village, the leader is called Hokage. Hokage is considered the strongest and the wisest person in the village who is respected by everyone and Naruto’s dream is the become the greatest Hokage ever. In the end, Naruto achieved his dream and becomes the Hokage of the Leaf village, but who is the greatest Hokage? Well, the answer is simple. Hashirama Senju the first Hokage of the Leaf village is known to be the strongest and most respected Hokage in history.
The Leaf Village is found and created by the Hashirama after the first great ninja war. The establishment of the Leaf Village lead to other villages being created. But now that question is, what makes Hashirama Senju the strongest Hokage? So let’s dive into the history of Hashirama and finds out why.
Hashirama’s Will of Fire
Hashirama is addressed as the first reincarnation of Hagoromo’s son Asura Otsutsuki. Asura was a wise man and always look for a path that lead to peace his whole life and that will be passed down to Hashirama as his first reincarnation. Hashirama’s brother was killed in the war when he was young and it made him so sad but despite that, he didn’t let it fade his determination and he kept looking for peace. That led him to be called the Shodai Hokage, which literally translates to; Founding Fire Shadow and he develop his will of fire which was then passed down to every ninja of the leaf village.
With Hashirama‘s physical strength being unparalleled, he also had an extremely large chakra pool which was, even more, bigger than Naruto who had Nine Tails chakra inside his body. When Naruto used the nine tails chakra to keep everyone safe in the fourth great ninja war, Hashirama said that Naruto’s chakra level is almost equal to his. That said, Naruto was the one with the most chakra level in the whole world with Kuruma’s chakra combined. But for Hashirama to have more chakra than Naruto, it’s almost unimaginable. This all makes him the strongest Sinobi ever and him being called the God of Shinobi.

Hashirama was the strongest but this isn’t what makes him eligible to be the Hokage. A Hokage is a man who is respected by everyone, whom everyone trusts, who can handle pressure and can make the right judgment even in desperate situations, the one who can lead an army of thousands to war but always keeps peace in mind. War can solve most of the problems and can be the easy path, But a true Hokage will always choose the path to solve the situation peacefully and will always put the need of others before his. Hashirama Senju was the perfect embodiment of all these qualities that’s what made him the perfect Hokage.
