Why is Julius Randle excited to team up with LeBron James in the 2023 All-Star game?
LeBron James recently touched the feat that seemed untouchable and he surpasses Kareem Abdul Jabbar and owned an all-time best scorer record. Every player wants their name with James before LeBron James puts up his jersey, one of them is Julius Randle who longs for what will likely be his final opportunity to play with the GOAT candidate. If the newly appointed team captain selects the four-time MVP for his side, the New York Knicks power forward is hoping to partner with him.
When asked by the media who he would like to play alongside, Randle responded as follows:
“Never be on play with Bron [James], PG [George]. … I got a relationship with P and I’ve never played with LeBron. So, it would be fun to do before he gets his old a** outta here.”
In the summer of 2018, LeBron James and Julius Randle were on the verge of joining the Los Angeles Lakers. James was recently attracted to Hollywood by Magic Johnson, but the Lakers were unable to keep Randle. After LeBron James joined the Lakers, Randle, who was a free agent at the time, was anticipated to play a reduced part. The promising forward relocated to New Orleans to play alongside Anthony Davis.
On the other side, Julius Randle’s inclusion in the All-Star game is not assured. There are rising stars that could keep him out of the exclusive annual club. The contest in Salt Lake City might be his last opportunity to compete against one of the best basketball players ever.
