Why ESPN Parted Ways with Neil Everett, Question
There are many people victims of ESPN who lost their job and had to part ways. One of them is Neil Everett.
Neli was a longtime SportsCenter anchor and Worldwide Leader since 2000. He left the organization on June 24 marking the end of their journey together.
Then he was welcomed by the Sports media reporter Richard Deitsch of The Athletic to his podcast. During the interview, when he was asked why he was let go by ESPN, then Everett provided a brutally honest answer.
Q: From your perspective, why are you no longer working at ESPN?

Everett: "I would probably guess that my value to them was not what it needed to be for them to keep me there."
A conversation with former SportsCenter anchor Neil Everett:https://t.co/4fVxwhX9tE
“I would probably guess that my value to them was not what it needed to be for them to keep me there,” Everett told Deitsch, candidly.
This was bold even for Everett, he should have at least said that he “100 percent” feels he left ESPN on his own terms.
Well whatever the case is, he’s now with another organization and will be working with them.
