Why does Draymond always wanna the center of attraction?

In the second quarter of the game when less than 4 minutes are left so that point, Green was called a foul on Ingram, as the young star not so impressed by this move as a senior player, Green pushed away the young star of the Pelicans Brandon Ingram so the Refs make this foul into a double technical foul.
Green was confused by the decision made by the referee because he didn’t want Ingram to come too close to him. Despite this, the referees penalize any player who pushes or shoves another player, even if it was done to defend.
After the technical fouls were assessed, the officials proceeded to examine Draymond Green’s initial personal foul on Brandon Ingram. Upon review, the referees upgraded the call to a Flagrant Foul 1, leaving Green even more confused and surprised.
There was another small conflict that was also evaluated, but no additional penalties were imposed. The Golden State Warriors were in desperate need of a victory against the New Orleans Pelicans to boost their chances of securing a tiebreaker. Unfortunately, the Pelicans were playing extremely well and had a commanding lead of 63-46 at halftime.
