The PGA tour chief Jay Monahan has been in the news for several days. From the PGA Tour- LIV merger controversy, PGA tour’s golfers calling Jay Hypocrite to a recent Senator Blumenthal opening an investigation for the PIF Deal.

A lot has been going on in 53 years old Jay’s Life. The news is coming from the PGA’s official tour committee that Monahan is recuperating from the medical condition. So he is staying at home to rest and recover as quickly as possible. And couldn’t be able to take care of the PGA board.

So who is going to be the next incharge of the PGA Tour in the absence of Jay Monahan?

Rex Hoggard posted on his Official Twitter handle that the PGA Tour’s Vice President and President, Ron Price and Tyler Dennis, will take care of the day-to-day operations of the PGA Tour. 

Ron Price and Tyler spoke to the reporters and wished Jay’s speedy recovery. And said they both as a team will do their best to manage PGA Tour. 

“Our thoughts are with Jay and his family during his absence, and we wish him a speedy recovery,”

The statement from Price and Dennis “We have a strong and experienced leadership team in place, and our priority is to support our players and continue the work underway to further lead the PGA Tour and golf’s future.”

Jay Monahan is a commissioner of the PGA Tour since 2017. Despite all the recent controversies he managed to finalize the deal between PGA Tour and Saudi’s Golf Club LIV Mans. His medical situation is kept private for personal reasons. It is uncertain what medical conditions Jay was suffering from.
