Who is Tyra Nicolet? Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Now Engaged to NBA Player
Tyra Nicolet, a former cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys, recently announced on Instagram that she is engaged to Oshae Brissett, a basketball player for the Indiana Pacers. She showed off her engagement ring in a photo and captioned it with “Here’s to forever.”
Her fellow cheerleaders and friends congratulated her on the exciting news.
Cowboys cheerleader Lexie Smith commented, “Congratulations Tyra, So happy for you.”
Cowboys cheerleader Armani Latimer replied, “YAY YAY YAY CONGRATS YOU TWO.”
Tyra joined the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2021 but decided to move on from that role in February 2023. She expressed her gratitude to the team and all the people who supported her during her time as a cheerleader. She described it as an unforgettable experience that she will always cherish.
“I can’t thank @dccheerleaders and Cowboys Nation enough for the most incredible 2 seasons I spent on the sidelines repping Americas team,” she wrote. “Thank you to all of my teammates and best friends for sharing the field with me and making it the best experience it could have possibly been! There is no team like THIS team and it was an honor to be even a small part of it. I will always cherish the days I spent as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader this was a chapter of life that I will never forget!”
Oshae Brissett has been playing in the NBA since 2019 and is known for his skills as a forward for the Indiana Pacers. During the 2022-23 season, he averaged 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
