What is the prize pool and roadmap of Free Fire 2022 Esports tournaments?
Garena Free Fire brings a piece of terrific news for participants of Free Fire 2022 Esports tournaments. The teams will qualify for these tournaments through various stages. Before that, Garena has increased the cumulative prize money for the tournaments by 35% and now the participating teams can win a total of 2.7 crore INR.
This prize pool will be divided into four upcoming major tournaments of Garena Free Fire: Free Fire India Championship (Spring and Fall) and Pro League (Summer and Winter). While the prize pool for the same tournaments in 2021 was just 2 crores INR.
Meanwhile, Garena has already announced the roadmap for the Free Fire 2022 Esports Tournaments (FFIC & FFPL). Here are details of these Free Fire events which will be held in 2022.

Roadmap of Free Fire India Championship and Pro League 2022
- Free Fire India Championship(FFIC) 2022: Garena will host the Free Fire India Championship which will be the first event of the year. The effect of the surge in the prize pool will be seen in this championship as it jumped to the 1 crore INR mark. The battle of teams will be an exciting treat to watch for this huge amount.
However, the top 6 teams from FFPL Winter 2021, which is currently conducting its league stage, will directly qualify for the FFIC 2022 League stage. While the other 6 teams (7th-12th) will battle in closed qualifiers with top qualified teams from online qualifiers. The top 12 teams will further move to the league stage.
The 18 teams (top 6 from FFPL final and 12 from closed qualifiers) will fight in the league stage and the top 6 will qualify for the Grand Finale of FFIC 2022. While the other 12 teams will battle for the remaining 6 spots of Grand Finale in Play-ins.
The top 12 finalists will face each other in the event’s finale for the first position and to qualify for the next free fire tournament.
- Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) 2022: The FFPL 2022 includes the prize money of 35 lakh INR. The finalist of FFIC 2022 will battle with the top 6 teams of open qualifiers to win the FFPL 2022.
The top 6 teams will further be qualified for the next FFIC league stage. While the remaining teams will feature in closed qualifiers.
Free Fire World Series
The Free Fire World Series is a global tournament of Garena Free Fire. The Free Fire World Series will be held in May 2022. The top 6 Finalist of the FFIC Spring 2022 will directly qualify to FFWS 2022 while the top 6 finalists of FFIC Fall will qualify for another FFWS which will conclude after FFIC Fall.
The last Free Fire World Series 2021 was canceled due to pandemics but this time we will hope to see an action-packed contest between Free Fire players.
