Deion Sanders the head coach of Colorado is on a mission to get the best player for his team. He expecting to his new team to be able to compete with TCU in the season opener in September.  

For that visiting different HBCU Colleges he was unable to attend the Morehouse Megacamp event due to facing medical conditions in his foot.

In an interview with Joel Klatt, He admitted by accepting the offer of Colorado he inherited ‘the Mess’. The former coach of Jackson University Deion described his new team as ‘junk’. Where he only got the 10 scholarship players from the last year.

These days Sanders has been attending HBCU college campuses around the country to seek new talents. Searching best players in these school mega camps.

And the mega camp in Morehouse College in Atlanta is one of the campuses, Sanders was scheduled to hunt new talents for his team. On Tuesday Deion, posted an apology video on his Instagram saying-  “Due to unforeseen circumstances that’s real, I unfortunately will not be attending the Morehouse camp on tomorrow,” 

He apologized for he couldn’t able to make it up and said he is sorry for ditching Atlanta at the very last minute – “I’m sorry. I apologize but I gotta take care of the body. Gotta take care of the body.”

While before this HBCU camp, the Sanders attended another campus at Prairie View A&M hosted by coach Bubba McDowell.

Although Sanders did send some coaches on his behalf to evaluate the real talents of all those students wanting a shining career in the NFL. 

Sanders later added  “I will send a few of my coaches there. Several of my coaches, a matter of fact, will still be on hand to evaluate the talent and possibly, responsibly select some players that are smart, tough, fast and disciplined — with character. And don’t forget good grades,” 

Further, he said, “You gotta have good grades if you want to play for Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffs”.

At last, he send his blessing to the Morehouse and said- “Morehouse is going to be phenomenal. Still going to be a phenomenal camp. God bless y’all and I wish you the best. We’re coming back soon.”

The Statement from the Prime Coach of Colorado definitely stated that on account of his medical conditions in his foot are the reason why he can’t join the Morehouse Campus in Atlanta.
