Westbrook’s move to avoid travel goes viral

Russell Westbrook went viral to avoid the traveling call, the blooper reel is everywhere now. While playing against the Sacramento Kings, he changed his mind and did not dribble the ball. He took the ball from Brown and made more than 2 or 3 dribbles, thus avoiding travel.

The Lakers guard has been on the wrong path. He has been a part of many recent controversies and other such bloopers over the years. 

Russell Westbrook’s blooper story

Last year against Minnesota Timberwolves Russ took a three-pointer that was not on the mark. Town gave a disgusting reaction to the player.  He once forgot to dribble the basketball against the Golden State Warriors. 

When asked about this weird move, he whispered, “I don’t know”. This act caught the attention of many during the game. 

Wednesday night was different. Westbrook, to avoid a traveling call, took a funny turn. 

The LA Lakers were in the lead, 56-54, against the Sacramento Kings. The travel was dodged, when Tomy Brown Jr, passed the ball toward Russell Westbrook, on the left wing. To jack up a triple, Russ thought to call off the traveling infraction. He instead took the ball and chose to bounce it off Kevin Heurter’s body. 

Earlier known for his being nine times NBA All-Star and winning the MVP award, Westbrook will now be known to take poor jump shots.
