Wesley Bryan thinks his brother, a YouTuber, could be able to play and win on the PGA Tour.
George Bryan, the brother of Wesley Bryan, is scheduled to play in this week’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship on the PGA Tour. Thursday, November 9, is when the competition will begin, and Sunday, November 12, is when it will conclude.
The Bryan brothers are well-liked by followers and have a big YouTube channel. George received a sponsor exemption to this week’s PGA Tour tournament, and his brother thinks the rookie golfer has a chance to win his first-ever PGA Tour championship.
Wesley had a news conference before the tournament’s commencement and discussed his brother. (Through Golf Magic) He stated:
It’s not a slight on many of the players this week, but it’s undeniably more skilful than the great majority of the field that’s teeing it up this week. That doesn’t sound ridiculous at all because I see you play. Thus, it’s not unreasonable to suggest that you have an opportunity to compete and succeed as a YouTuber.
George talked candidly about his debut as well. Says he:
“I know that even a few weeks or even months ago, it would have been acceptable if I had simply made the cut or if I played decent. Like, my game is good. I do YouTube videos for a career, so it seems ridiculous, but the game has been that amazing in tournaments, and now that I’m playing well, it’s like, What about top-10 to get into next week?”
Wesley Bryan became a professional in 2012 and has won four events thus far. This week, he will compete for his second PGA Tour triumph.
