Week 1 Starting Quarterback Decision From Cardinals
The NFL 2023-24 season is just about to start and there have been a lot of important decisions made in the NFL world, especially the Starting Quarterback for every team who is going to play in Week 1 which is set to start from September 7.
Following that just one day before week 1 starts, the Arizona Cardinals have also finalized their starting Quarterback.
According to some rumors, this decision was already made some time ago. But even though the Arizona Cardinals head coach, Jonathan Gannon, said he wouldn’t tell us who the starting quarterback for Week 1 is, we soon found out.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport says it looks like Josh Dobbs will be the starter for Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. Rookie Clayton Tune will be the backup.
According to the reports, the Cardinals will evaluate the situation each week until starting quarterback and captain Kyler Murray is healthy again.
“Sources: The #AZCardinals are expected have Josh Dobbs as their starting QB this week, with rookie Clayton Tune getting backup reps. They’ll evaluate the situation each week, but this is how it begins,” Rapoport wrote.

Josh Dobbs started two games last year for the Tennessee Titans. Although he didn’t win either, he did pretty well in the limited chances he got. During the offseason, he joined the Cleveland Browns but was later traded to the Cardinals just before training camp ended.
Do you think Dobbs will perform well in Week 1?
