Weather Report for Nebraska vs Louisiana Tech game
Nebraska is all set to face Louisiana Tech this Sunday but there might be some bed now for fans as the latest weather forecast came out. Nebraska is expecting that the weather on the day of the game might not be idle and can cause some issues.
Cornhuskers head coach Matt Rhule reported During his press conference on Thursday that they are preparing for inclement conditions this week and going back through the spring and summer.
“We did some wet football stuff last night. Luckily for us, you know us, we don’t go inside in camp during the rain, we don’t go inside in the spring. We don’t use the indoor facility unless we absolutely have to, the doctor comes in and says it’s too hot,” Rhule said, via Saturday Tradition. “Otherwise we’re outside because we play outside. We’ve got a lot of reps in the rain a lot of reps this week doing wet ball drill.”
Rhule added that it is a great motivating factor to know that no matter the weather, Big Red fans will still pack Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
“We have to play to a standard, we have to show our gratitude and thanks,” he said. “I’m thankful for all the people in our state so we have to play well. You can hear in my voice, I want our guys to know there is no excuse for not playing Nebraska football.”
The weather in Lincoln will be rainy for the next few days, and there might be scattered thunderstorms, especially on Saturday.
Nebraska just won their last game against Northern Illinois last weekend, so they now have a record of 1 win and 2 losses for the season. They are scheduled to play against Louisiana Tech at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
