The Minnesota Vikings are gearing up for a big Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the excitement is building. But even before the game starts, one Vikings cheerleader, Soon Ji, is catching everyone’s eye on social media.
Soon Ji has been a Vikings cheerleader for six years now, and she recently celebrated her birthday, which has made people take notice.
The official Instagram account for the Vikings cheerleaders had some really nice things to say about her: “Your bold, fearless leadership and radiance have made you an exceptional teammate and captain. May this be year be filled with moments as fabulous as you are on and off the field! We love you.”
Back in June, Soon Ji announced that she was coming back for another year with the Vikings. She was pretty excited about it, saying, “Here’s to another year of getting to do what I love most. Round 6 w/ @mvcheerleaders ? how did I get so lucky.”
Earlier this year, Soon Ji had a great time at the 2024 NFL Draft in Kansas City. You can tell from her social media posts that she had a blast. She said, “Still in awe after the last couple days in Kansas City. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it! This is a draft the girls and I will never forget.”
As we all look forward to Thursday’s game between the Eagles and Vikings, many eyes are on Soon Ji and her remarkable journey. The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET.
