VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo Omega Bracket Day 8 results and highlights
The Valorant VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023 kicked off with a bang on 13 February, Day 8 of the event where the Omega group teams clashed with each other for forwarding for the next round. Day eight starts with the clash between Global Esports vs Team Vitality, Fut Esports vs Rex Regum Qeon, and 100 Thieves vs EDward Gaming.
32 teams will compete in a single elimination bracket format, and all matches will be the best of three except the Semifinals and Grand Finals, which is Bo5.
In round 1 from 32 teams 16 teams head towards round 2 and from there 8 teams will head towards the quarterfinals, from which 4 teams will play semifinals and then 2 finalists compete in the grand final to be crowned as the champions. Whoever is the winner of their team will also win an extra slot for their region.

Global Esports vs Team Vitality (Omega)
The first match of the day starts with a matchup between two newly formed teams Global Esports representing the Pacific and Team Vitality representing EMEA. In the best-of-three series, both teams show the world stage what they are capable of, Team Vitality defeated Global esports by a 2-1 scoreline.

Fut Esports vs Rex Regum Qeon (Omega)
The second match goes pretty one-sided for the Fut Esports where they defeated RRQ by a 2-0 score in a Bo3 series. Fut esports is now headed toward round 2 where they meet 100 thieves.

100 Thieves vs EDward Gaming (Omega)
The closest match of the day was played between 100 Thieves and EDward Gaming, both teams gave each other a kneck-to-kneck tough fight. But in the end, 100 Thieves crack the Bo3 series by a 2-1 scoreline.
