Valorant VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023: Schedule, Matches, and more
Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023 is ready to kick start from 13th Feb to 4th March in the capital of Brazil, Sao Paulo. It’s the first tournament since Riot announced their 30 franchise teams.
Riot Games is starting its Valorant tournament with an S-Tier tournament this year, in 2022 just after the end of Valorant champions game devs already revealed their roadmap for the 2023 esports scenario of Valorant.
In this tournament total of 32 teams are going to be participating for the one and only crown, and showcase that they are the best in the world. It’s going to be tough for every team after so many updates in the game and player swaps that happened in every franchised team.
After the legalization of Valorant in China Riot has invited two teams from the Chinese region to represent what they have to show, but one of the Chinese teams Edward Gaming showed us in the Valorant Champions that they are capable of beating any team in the world.
Valorant VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo Format and Schedule
The tournament will kickstart from the 13th of Feb to the 4th of March, in which 32 teams going to compete in a single elimination bracket format, and all matches are going to be best of three except Semifinals and Grand Finals which is Bo5.
In round 1 from 32 teams 16 teams head towards round 2 and from there 8 teams will head towards the quarterfinals, from which a total of 4 teams will play semifinals and then 2 finalists compete in the grand final to be crowned as the champions. Whoever is the champion of their team will win also an extra slot for their region.

Valorant VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo Prize Pool
The total prize pool money is $500,000 USD is going to be spread among the participating teams and from the collection of money from the LOCK//IN capsule bundle 50% will be distributed amongst the teams.
