Four-time World Cup winner the United States Women’s National Team is ready to fly overseas for this year’s Women’s Soccer World Cup.
This year Fifa Women’s World Cup 2023 is about to start on 20th July in New Zealand. USWNT is receiving nationwide support as well as letters from their family members.
On Tuesday, the National Women’s Soccer League posted a heartwarming video of USWNT players reading letters from their families.
The league wrote,”Before the @USWNT left for the World Cup, we had loved ones write a send-off letter. And yes, we cried too”

USWNT players are looking forward to their third straight World Cup this year. Last week Alex Morgan also sent a special message to all the soccer fans out there. For an athlete, it is a great honor to play for your nation. To get heartwarming letters from your family about how much they are proud of you, it is natural that tears will fall.
The USWNT will start its 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup with a Group E matchup against Vietnam on Friday, July 21. The FIFA Women’s World Cup will be aired on the BBC.
