Former Football coach and Sports Expert Urban Meyer is one of the greatest college football head coaches.

Urban Meyer coached the Florida Gators in the past and led them to two national championships. In a recent Netflix sports documentary series named ‘Untold: Swamp Kings’, Urban Meyer talked about some of more toughest moments of his career when he was worried about job security as well as his tenure in Florida.

During his first season with the team, the Gators lost three games, including a bad 30-22 road loss to South Carolina, which had Meyers questioning his job security afterward.

In the upcoming Netflix series Untold is set to release on Tuesday 22nd August, Meyer talks about his fears of losing his job. He said,

“After that loss at South Carolina, I walk into this restaurant in Gainesville, Florida and they boo me … they boo me.”

He continued, “People started to question me as a leader and to say that I lost my confidence … I certainly lost my confidence. I’ve never had that much doubt. I thought there’s a decent chance this one’s over.”

However, Urban Meyer came out of his fear and regained his confidence which further led him to two national championships for the Gators before he joined the LSU college Football team.

Myers also compiled a 65-15 coaching record (.813) during his time at Florida.

The Untold: Swamp Kings will soon reveal more truth related to Urban Meyer’s life in college football.
