Former Football coach and sports Commentator Urban Mayer talked about Florida Gators in Netflix’s Untold: Swamp Kings Documentary series.
In a recent series former Gator coach Urban Mayer who led the team to two national championships, talked about the moment when he lost his confidence at Florida.
The Netflix series Untold: Swamp Kings will released on Tuesday. Via 247Sports Meyer discussed how bad he felt after the Gators lost to the Gamecocks of South Carolina in 2005.
In a recent interview with 247Sports reporter Brad Crawford, Meyer said,
“After that loss at South Carolina, I walk into this restaurant in Gainesville, Florida and they boo me, they boo me. People started to question me as a leader and to say that I lost my confidence. I certainly lost my confidence. I’ve never had that much doubt. I thought there’s a decent chance this one’s over.”

In the end, he put a full stop to all his doubts when he led the team the Gators to their titles in 2006 and 2008. It happens often when one doubts their potential until they achieve it.
Later Mayer became head coach of the Ohio State when he led that program to a National Championship in 2014. Another great achievement in his collegiate coaching career.
