U.S. Open: Charlie Woods’ Perfect Golf Swing Ahead of The Game
Tiger Woods, a professional Golfer decided not to participate and stay on the sidelines. But this didn’t stop him from giving some training to his son Charlie Woods. Charlie is just 14 years old but in terms of experience and skill to be a golfer, he already is on a professional level.
Charlie is getting training from his father since he was a child and all that training is paying off. Recently Tiger and Charlie were spotted practicing near the which is about 25 miles from the site of the 2023 U.S. Open where Charlie showed off his impressive swing during his round at Riviera.
Charlie didn’t just get the training from Tiger but also played alongside him in several tournaments. All the things Tiger has told Charlie will stay with him for the rest of his life.
“Any time I get a chance to spend time with my son, it’s always special,” Tiger told ESPN during last year’s PNC Championship. “And to do it in a competitive forum, the last couple of years have been magical, and to be able to do it again, we’re looking forward to it.”
This isn’t just Charlie who is being trained, Tiger is also learning many new things during the time he’s spending training with Charlie.
“They’re all smiles. Tiger is definitely teaching him the right techniques, but there’s not the intensity that [Tiger’s father] Earl had with him,” a source told People in 2020.
“It’s a total bonding situation. Tiger can get goofy and funny with Charlie. It’s not ‘all work and no play’ like Earl could sometimes get.”
