Surprisingly, neither player was ejected from the game, despite Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll’s obvious anger at the end of the first half. Usually, such incidents lead to ejections, but Williams got away with it this time.
At halftime, the 49ers led 17-6, aiming to make their season record 3-0. Brock Purdy, the 49ers’ quarterback, had a great first half, throwing for over 150 yards and a touchdown.
On the other side, the Giants were hoping for another comeback after they rallied from a 21-3 deficit in their last game against the Arizona Cardinals. The game was now in the fourth quarter, with the 49ers ahead 21-12.
If you want to watch the rest of the game, it’s available on Amazon Prime Video.
