Took 30 Years For Competing In U.S. Open Golf Said Ryan Armour
At 47, Ryan Armour will finally play first time in the 23rd U. S. Open Golf at Los angeles city. It took him 105 starts on the PGA Tour to live his ultimate dream of being in the U.S. Open.
On Tuesday before during his nine-hole practice round Armour said “This is my job,” “You just keep practicing and keep trying to get better. He said Golf is a funny game
“…Not everyone is a superstar. We’ve been saying, with all the stuff that’s going on in the golf world, superstars need people to beat up on, too. But we can get hot, and we can have good weeks, and we can compete.”
With an unimaginable amount of time in practice golf, he said he arrived at Lambton Golf & Country Club in Toronto, Canada, with zero expectations of qualifying in the finals.
Other than Ryan, 47 only Stewart Cink, 50, was older and survived the 36 hole at Canada.
This time 123rd U.s. Open Golf will be hosted by the beautiful Los Angeles Country Club which is spread over 300 acres of area in the west side of LA.
