Tom Brady Shares Heartfelt Reaction to the Tragic Loss of Former Teammate Ryan Mallett
The NFL community received devastating news on Tuesday night about the passing of former quarterback Ryan Mallett, and it has left everyone in shock. Mallett, who was just 35 years old, tragically lost his life in a drowning accident in Florida. Reports state that he was rushed to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he couldn’t be saved.
Mallett, who started his career as a standout college quarterback at Arkansas, had the opportunity to play for the New England Patriots as a third-round draft pick. During his time with the team, he learned from and worked alongside the legendary Tom Brady for three seasons.
Upon learning about Mallett’s death, Tom Brady took to Instagram to express his deep sadness.
He shared a heartfelt message, saying, “We lost a great man. Thank you for everything Ryan. Praying for the Mallett family and all their loved ones tonight.”
Bill Belichick, Mallett’s first NFL head coach with the Patriots, also released a statement expressing his sorrow.
He said, “I am extremely saddened by Ryan’s tragic passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the many people whose lives he touched.”
