Tom Brady cautions Josh Allen about his hazardous style of play: “You’re putting yourself in harm’s way”

Josh Allen has no fear when it comes to football, something Tom Brady has noticed. Allen is willing to bowl over opponents in order to gain a few yards. It’s an exhilarating and occasionally effective style of play, but it’s also risky.

In the NFL, whether you’re rushing or not, the hits pile up. Allen does run, and Brady warned him about it. On the Let’s Go! Podcast, the retired NFL quarterback suggested that Allen take the following precautions:

“He gets used to running the ball because he makes so many plays, and he wants to run it because he knows he can gain yards. There’s a lot of faith in it.”

He feels the Buffalo Bills star is endangering himself with these runs. If that’s the case, Allen may be badly injured with only one blow. Brady would like Allen to be aware of this.

In addition, the former New England Patriots star stated:

“I would love to see Josh save those very special moments and special occasions to run the ball rather than to run the ball six minutes into the game on a second and sixth.”

He added a huge compliment to his warning:

“Not that he shouldn’t run, but when he does run, f*****g slide and make sure no one hits you because I don’t want to see him ever get hurt, and I want to see him out there playing every week because he’s such a f*****g stud.”

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers standout admits that Allen can accomplish things Brady cannot. He also understands that there is a danger, and he does not want to see Allen retire due to injury:

“He can do a lot of things that I couldn’t do back there, but at the same time, I want to see him play another 10 to 12 years and really see how he can maximize potential because he loves the sport.”

Brady wants to know that the game is in excellent hands now that he has left. Josh Allen, he feels, is a part of that, and he wants to see him continue his career for as long as possible.
