Tom Brady’s golf career: The retired quarterback will compete against professionals at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Tom Brady’s passion for golf is well-documented, and he is no stranger to competing on the course.
In 2020, he will compete in The Match: Champions for Charity alongside six-time Major winner Phil Mickelson against 15-time Major winner Tiger Woods and retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. A single shot defeated Brady and Mickelson.
Brady and Mickelson will face four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and 2020 U.S. Open winner Bryce DeChambeau in the fourth edition of The Match in 2021. Brady and Mickelson were defeated once more, dropping their record to 0-2 as a team.
Brady and Rodgers battled Kansas City Chiefs standout Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the sixth edition of The Match.
The seven-time Super Bowl champs finally broke his duck as he and Rodger outlasted their younger opponents.
Brady has had plenty of time to polish his golfing talents since retiring at the end of the 2022 NFL season. In retirement, the quarterback has remained active, joining the ownership group of the Las Vegas Raiders and purchasing a share in the English soccer team Birmingham City.
Brady’s main focus since hanging up his boots appears to be golf. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am pits amateurs against the world’s best professional golfers. Brady is preparing to go to war on his own and attempt to become a golfer.
