Skip Bayless, a Star critic and analyst of football, open up about how he was contacted by Lil Wayne. Yes, The rapper Lil Wayne offers his help to the Grizzlies Memphis Star player Ja Morant.

Memphis’s Point guard, Morant was suspended from the team after his video of a waving a gun became viral on social media. 

The Commissioner of the NBA Adam Silver, was so disappointed with Morant. He said it’s important to teach him discipline otherwise Ja will not take this suspension seriously in the near future.

So the suspension will not be announced until the final NBA game between Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets winner will be announced.

And now when the finals are over and the Nuggets enjoying their sweet sweet victory.

Wayne contacted Skip and requested to connect with Ja Morant. Skip Bayless revealed in his podcast “The Skip Bayless Show” that  Wayane his personal friend wanted to help. So another young star could not set early in his career’s beginning.

Lil Wayne texted to Skip and wrote “Hey, can you connect me with Ja? I can help him. I’ve been there; I’ve done all this. I wound up in prison on Rikers [island]. I know what happens and where you can go wrong, and I know what’s right”

On that text, Bayless replied, “I’ll try.” Though he did text Ja- “I reached out to Ja, would you sit with Lil Wayne? Would you talk with Wayne, who would fly to him? He’d fly to Memphis on a private plane in a heartbeat if he thought he could save a career and a soul.” spoke Skip in his podcast.

However, Morant hasn’t replied to him back but Skip hopes he should contact Lil Wayne. So in his time of need, he will not be alone.

It’s good for Ja to have advice from someone who’s already been to that place.
