Tiger Woods and Charlie will be back at PNC
Tiger Woods is gradually regaining his health and returning to the golf course. He and his son Charlie have stated that they would return to the greens in December for the PNC Championship. They’ve done it three times previously, so this is their fourth time.
According to CBS Sports, Woods stated the following:
“It’s an incredible gift to be able to share my passion for golf with Charlie, and we genuinely look forward to competing in the PNC Championship every year.” It’s incredibly amazing to be competing together against a field of so many golfing greats and their families.”
Woods has been out of the game for a long time owing to surgery and rehabilitation, but he will be returning as a semi-regular contender very soon.
Tiger Woods is gradually returning to golf after undergoing surgery.
The great golfer has been recovering from ankle surgery that occurred following his withdrawal from this year’s Masters due to injury. In terms of health, his confirmation of this appearance and his commitment to the Hero World Challenge indicate that he is in good shape.
Tiger Woods stated the following about his health:
“Nothing is wrong with my ankle.” I have virtually no problems where they fused my ankle. That ache is no longer there. It’s the other regions that have been compensated for… all of the surrounding areas are where I had and continue to have issues. So you correct one, and others have to become more hypermobile to go around it, which might cause problems.”
If he can perform as well as or better than before the operation, he and Charlie Woods have a decent chance of winning the tournament. They are one of the top father-son teams in the sport.
Woods’ operation was supposed to improve his playing status. He certainly had a lot of health problems the previous time he was on the courses. He wasn’t the same Woods who could win every time he took the course.
He does have some additional problems to consider, as he indicated. But he appears to be in better form than he was previously. That’s excellent news for the golfing world but bad news for any possible opponents to the 82-time major PGA Tour champion.
