Three major rules were formed during this MLB season 2023

For the first time in history, new rules were introduced for baseball leading to more excitement for fans. There are years of practice that were done to consider these rules, in a lot of small leagues and other tournaments were done from these rules before implementation. 

All the spring matches were played according to these rules so that a player can get an estimation of what an original big league now looks like. Those three rules in MLB for 2023 were.

3 rules are newly introduced in MLB. 

1)  Bigger base

There is a slight change in the base of MBL in this league the former base is 15 square inches, but now it has expanded by 18 square inches. The idea behind this change is to give more space to the baserunner to adjust accordingly from the defender.

2) No shift 

MLB clubs can change up their defenses. They do not have to be rigid bout their positions on the pitch. However, there are some restrictions on how far one can move from a certain place. There must be two infielders on the left side and two on the right infield. The line of demarcation for it is second base.

3)  Pitch clock

The biggest rule of all is the pitch clock in the newest season of MBL the player can have opportunities to show their speed in the match. The game has been changed slot by this new rule. Eventually, pitchers must wait 15 seconds between pitches if there are no runners on the base and 20 seconds otherwise.
