The name of Brandon Moreno, popularly known as “The Assassin Baby” among his supporters, is unavoidable if you consider yourself to be a serious wrestling fan. The Mexican mixed martial artist who has been competing since 2011 and has won the hearts of millions has never left the ring without chanting “Viva Mexico.” things weren’t always like this. Moreno keeps all of his promises
Moreno was raised in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, where he was born and raised. His family used to own a piñata manufacturing company, so he had a very humble upbringing. His mother enrolled him in the nearby Entram Gym when he was twelve, and he began training in mixed martial arts there. from there, his career as a fighter began.
On April 22, 2017, after winning a match against Dustin Ortiz, Moreno made a promise .“Maybe not today, Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not next month.” he continued “Pero only one thing is true, I will be champion one day, I promise. I promise.” However, it took him 4 years to complete his promise. And he became Mexico’s first-ever UFC champion by dismantling Deiveson Figueiredo. In June 2021, player Moreno felt the UFC flyweight championship draping over his shoulder as tears cascaded down his cheeks.
