“The Star-Spangled Banner” is the National Anthem of the United States written by Francis Scott Key and John Stafford Smith is very hard to sing even by great musicians. But then a 27-year-old vocalist named Whitney Houston, in 1991 Jan 27 performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl 25.
Thirty-two years, it’s the anniversary of the most memorable moment in the National Football League. She became the center of attraction there and also it was the great National Anthem heard by the whole sports world. She has done it as a part of the charity and social work.
Pro Football Hall of Fame tweeted “ 32 years ago today, it was the Super Bowl. The Persian Gulf War had started only 10 days before, emotion was high and the stage was set. And Whitney Houston brought the house down.”
Now this memorable epic event is celebrated by the whole social media and is given as a tribute to Whitney Houston. Many comments were received for the same which says “No one will ever do it better than Whitney” and so on.
Thereafter many singers sang at the Super Bowl but Whitney made it an epic in the history of the NFL. Every year the memory of Whitney’s National Anthem is celebrated by the whole sporty world.
The NFL finally announced that the National Anthem will be sung by Chris Stapleton in Super Bowl 2023. All the sports audience are waiting for the event.
