The sale of Rickie Fowler’s famous Odyssey Jailbird putter creates a sense of urgency among golf lovers
Rickie Fowler is one of the PGA Tour’s most promising young players. While his class and golf talents are not concealed from the rest of the world, his equipment does aid him a lot on the golf courses.
Fowler’s famed Odyssey Jailbird Putter is now available for purchase, but only in a limited edition. This remarkable golf putter is used not only by fan-favorite golfers but also by the 2022-23 season winners Wyndham Clark and Keegan Bradley.
Golfers may get the well-known Odyssey Limited Edition Jailbird 380 White Hot Putter at Dicks Sporting Goods’ website. It costs $399.99 and measures 39 inches in length.
Earlier this year, Rickie Fowler praised the Odyssey Jailbird Putter. Golf Monthly reported him as saying:
“I was very shocked because I never really looked into anything that was longer, counterbalanced or anything like that.”
He noted the Odyssey Jailbird Putter was amazing and gripped the same as his old normal-length putter. He went on to say that the putter had helped him do a lot of things he would not have considered otherwise.
How did Rickie Fowler fare on the PGA Tour during the 2022-23 season?
This season, the 34-year-old American golfer made 26 starts. He only missed the cut twice, at the Shriners Children’s Open and the PGA Championship. He finished in the top 25 18 times, with eight top ten results.
Rickie Fowler spectacularly began his season, finishing tied for sixth at the 2022 Fortinet Championship. Later, he tied for second place at the Zozo Championship.
He won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in a playoff over Collin Morikawa and Adam Hadwin. For his victory at the Detroit Golf Club, he received a cheque for $1,584,000.
