The Player Underwear Rule Has Finally Been Changed by Wimbledon
Wimbledon Championships, commonly known simply as Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. It is also famous for its strict white attire rule.
For a long time, female tennis players have been worried and unhappy about having to wear all-white clothing during their periods. But there is good news: Wimbledon has finally decided to make some changes to address this issue.
The underwear rule has been relaxed.
“Wimbledon’s all-white rule included *underwear* – which they are relaxing for the first time this year, for good reason,” Michele Steele tweeted.
Players felt so anxious about playing at Wimbledon while on their period that they developed signals with their support teams in case they leaked and were showing.

Players had for years been anxious about it.
“Players felt so anxious about playing at Wimbledon while on their period that they developed signals with their support teams in case they leaked and were showing,” the report states.
It’s good that Wimbledon has made a change regarding the rule on all-white underwear, although we shouldn’t give them too much praise for it.
The 2023 Grand Slam tournament is starting this week, and we hope to see an exciting week of competitive tennis in England
