The New ‘Racist’ Youth Gymnastics Video Has Simone Biles Upset
Simone Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist, recently came out and expressed her thoughts after watching a video from 2022 where a young Black girl was the only gymnast not given a medal.
“Welcome to Ireland where people get away with racism!” Mohamad Safa tweeted along with the clip. “This little black girl broke my heart. Don’t skip this post without leaving a million heart for her. Make her famous…”

Biles left a reply underneath the post letting a user know that she’s already been in contact with the family. Saying, “when this video was circulating, her parents reached out. It broke my heart to see, so I sent her a little video. there is no room for racism in any sport or at all !!!!”
The event in question says they received a complaint from the parents of “one of our members” and a “resolution” was reportedly reached last month.
