The Lawsuit against Tiger Woods by his Ex-Girlfriend: New Updates
A Lawsuit was filed against an American professional golfer, Tiger Woods earlier this year by his Ex-Girlfriend Erica Herman for “sexual harassment” but dropped in the middle.
The All-time great golfer had to pay a total of $30 million due to this Lawsuit. According to the reports, this lawsuit was due to Woods asking for an NDA from his ex-girlfriend while she was still an employee at his Palm Beach restaurant and later was driven out of his Florida mansion.
The millions of amount in the lawsuit were calculated on the bases of, how much will it cost to take the Woods mansion on rent for 6 years of residence she was allegedly denied. Then in May, Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger, Herman’s sexual harassment was “vague and threadbare” and she will have to continue to abide by the nondisclosure agreement she signed in 2017. Due to this Herman had to drop the lawsuit.
“The Plaintiff, ERICA HERMAN, by and through her undersigned counsel, hereby dismisses without prejudice her Complaint, filed on October 26, 2022, pending resolution of the appeal in Herman v. Woods,” the filing read, via the New York Post.
Now Woods is free from the lawsuit and returned to his usual work.
