The Las Vegas Sphere mocks golfers on one of America’s most expensive courses
The Las Vegas Sphere is a large installation that overlooks the city’s skyline. Since its installation on the Las Vegas skyline, the sculpture has been a tourist draw. The $2.3 billion artwork has become a local landmark, but it has yet to be nice to the golfers in the neighborhood.
The city is now hosting the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open, and many golfers are dissatisfied with the view. The sphere also obscures the idea of the surrounding green desert. Furthermore, the artwork practically taunts the golfers for a poor tee shot.
A golf influencer named Joseph Demare was teeing off at the Wynn Las Vegas golf course. Although his shot was poor, the Las Vegas Sphere’s reaction was far more intriguing. The golf influencer rushed to Instagram to explain his problem, and his post currently has over 22k likes. Demare also referenced the Las Vegas Sphere in his Instagram caption.
“You know you suck when even the @spherevegas is trolling you after your tee shot.”
Previously, the golf course looked out over the vast desert that Las Vegas is famous for. However, it has since been taken over by the Las Vegas Sphere, which many consider to be trolling.
The 2023 Shriners Children’s Open will be held somewhere other than the Las Vegas Sphere.
The Shriners Children’s Open, a PGA Tour tournament, is being held in Las Vegas. Surprisingly, it will be held at the TPC Summerlin rather than the Wynn Las Vegas, which overlooks the contentious Las Vegas Sphere.
The Shriners Children’s Open will include a number of notable players, including Lexi Thompson of the LPGA Tour. This is the seventh time a woman has been excused from a PGA Tour tournament, and the American golfer was clearly taken aback.
She will, however, have stiff competition from outstanding golfers such as Ludvig Aberg, who just demonstrated his brilliance at the 2023 Ryder Cup. Defending champion Tom Kim is also trying to make a return.
