Texas Longhorns Legend Bill Little’s Passing Has Mack Brown’s Heartbroken
On Friday, Texas announced that Bill Little passed away at the age of 81. He worked in athletics for the Longhorns for more than 50 years.
The Texas Longhorns Head Coach Mack Brown really heartbroken for the passing of the sports information director and special assistant to the athletics director Bill Little.
NFL is just about to start and this is the most crucial time for every coach and player. They can’t afford to make any mistakes and especially get injured. And news, like this hit the NFL world recently, is really heartbroken for everyone.
Little was also the communications head for Brown and the Texas football team.
With that said, Brown released a heartfelt statement on the passing of Little.
“So saddened to hear of the passing of Texas legend Bill Little,” Brown wrote. “There is nobody who knew more or cared more about the Longhorns. We lost a great man. We send our deepest condolences to Bill’s family and friends. Rest in peace, my friend.”

Brown was really close to Little and was used to spending plenty of time with him during his 16-year stint as the head coach of the Longhorns.
