Riot Games is gearing up for the initial major update of Teamfight Tactics Set 8.5, which will introduce more than 20 adjustments to Hero Augments, in addition to balancing the outlier champions and traits of the Glitched Out! Set. Although the 20 Hero Augment changes expected to arrive in Set 8.5 Patch 13.7 have yet to be implemented on the PBE server as of March 31, there have been numerous alterations made to champion and trait balance. Vex’s secondary damage has undergone a revamp, while Morgana’s active spell and health have been boosted. The LaserCorps trait is also receiving a revamp, and Sureshot is receiving a universal buff.

Changes in Set 8.5 TFT champions (Patch 13.7)

Vex’s secondary damage underwent significant changes, while a plethora of adjustments was made to several other champions in Set 8.5.

  • Gangplank: No longer has the ability to remove crowd control effects, but his spell damage was increased at all-star levels from 210/315/475 to 230/345/515.
  • Lux: Her spell damage was increased by one and two stars from 200/300/450 to 220/330/500.
  • Draven: His attack damage was nerfed at all-star levels to 65/98/146.
  • Gnar: His armor and magic resistance were increased from 45 to 50, and his mana was adjusted from 0/80 to 20/80.
  • Kai’Sa: Her passive spell damage was increased at all-star levels from 110/150/240 to 165/245/405, but her attack damage was nerfed at all-star levels to 25/38/56, and her health was reduced to 600/1080/1944.
  • Morgana: Her active spell damage was increased at all-star levels from 200/300/495 to 215/325/535, and her health was increased at all-star levels to 900/1620/2916.
  • Vex: Her spell damage was nerfed at all-star levels from 240/360/600 to 230/345/570, and her secondary damage was changed to deal 230/345/570 magic damage to the first enemy hit and 150/225/370 magic damage to subsequent enemies hit.
  • Bel’Veth: His attack damage was increased at all-star levels to 80/120/180, and his health was increased at all-star levels to 1050/1890/3402.
  • Garen: His physical damage dealt was nerfed at all-star levels from 188/282/830 to 172/258/785 (percent of attack damage and magic damage), but his stun was buffed at all-star levels from 1.75/2/6 to 2/2.25/6, and his health was increased at all-star levels to 1050/1890/3402, and his mana was adjusted from 100/200 to 90/180.
  • Jhin: His attack damage was nerfed at all-star levels to 65/98/146.
  • Neeko: Her three-star spell damage was buffed from 200 to 300, and her final hop damage was increased at all-star levels from 145/220/600 to 150/225/700.
  • Samira: Her attack speed was increased to 0.80, and her mana was changed from 0/75 to 0/65.
  • Twisted Fate: All of his cards’ magic damage was nerfed at all-star levels from 60/95/350 to 55/85/250, while his red card damage was nerfed at all-star levels from 200/300/900 to 190/285/800.
  • Fiddlesticks: His magic damage was buffed at all-star levels from 85/130/800 to 90/135/800.
  • Nunu: His ball now adds a brief stun with magic damage.
  • Syndra: Her orb damage now adds a brief knock-up for all enemies hit.
  • Ultimate Ezreal: His attack damage was increased at all-star levels to 65/98/146, and his speed was increased to 0.95.
  • Urgot: His mana was adjusted from 75/175 to 80/160.

Changes in Set 8.5 TFT traits (Patch 13.7)

  • Gadgeteen: Fifth breakpoint adjusted to “create two items, 10 percent per item.
  • Hacker: New breakpoints of 3/4/5 with 30/40/50 percent Omnivamp for Hackers and 10/20/30 percent for the rider.
  • InfiniTeam: Damage increased to 50/60/95 percent and Health buffed to 50/60/95 percent
  • LaserCorps: Rework—” When a LaserCorp agent attacks or is hit by an attack, their drone deals magic damage to the agent’s target (0.40-second cooldown). Drones are reassigned to another champion with a drone when the agent dies.”
  • Mascot: Team healing reduced from 1.5 to one percent
  • Parallel: Ultimate Ezreal’s ability now summons two additional temporal duplicates
  • Prankster: Breakpoint of four health increased from 250 to 350 and the stun duration is still two seconds.
  • Quickdraw: Total damage increased to 70/140/220 percent
  • Renegade: Bonus damage adjusted to 40/70 percent and extra damage for last alive increased to 30/40 percent
  • Sureshot: Attack damage buffed from 6/11/16/24 to 7/12/18/25 percent
