Taylor Swift Concert Forces Cincinnati Reds to Change MLB Game Time
The Cincinnati Reds recently had to make a change to their schedule for an upcoming game against the San Diego Padres. Originally, the game was supposed to start at 7:10 p.m. ET, but they had to move it earlier to 5:10 p.m. ET. Can you guess why? Well, it’s all because of Taylor Swift!
It turns out that Taylor Swift is having a concert on the same night at Paycor Stadium, where the Bengals play. Since both the game and the concert are expected to attract big crowds, the Reds decided to change the game time. They thought it would be a good idea to avoid traffic problems and make it easier for people to go to either event.
Because of the Taylor Swift concert on the same night, the Reds have moved their Friday June 30 game vs the Padres to 5:10 pm ET. The game on July 1 remains at 1:40 pm ET.

Taylor Swift is currently on her “Eras Tour” and will be performing in Pittsburgh and Minneapolis before coming to Cincinnati. The Reds’ fans are hoping that by the time the game is played in a couple of weeks, the team will have improved their record of 32-35 and be closer to a .500 win percentage. The Reds’ next game is against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night, and it starts at 8:10 p.m. ET.
So, mark your calendars! The game between the Reds and the Padres will now start at 5:10 p.m. ET because of Taylor Swift’s concert happening on the same night. It’s an interesting mix of sports and music, and fans are excited to see how it all unfolds under the summer night sky.
