Taskin Ahmed’s Powerful Bouncer Injures Theekshana, Forcing Him Out of the Game

Taskin Ahmed is a very important player for Pakistan because he can bowl really fast and is very skilled. Lately, he has been taking a lot of wickets for Bangladesh, especially when the game starts. In a match against Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup 2023, he bowled really well and got three important wickets.

He got the wickets of Charith Asalanka, Sadeera Samarawickrama, and Maheesh Theekshana. Two of those wickets were taken in the final over, and one of them was Theekshana’s, who got hurt when a very fast ball hit his glove. This made Sri Lanka’s main spinner worry about his injury.

Now, about that fast ball, it was aimed at Theekshana’s body. It was so fast that Theekshana couldn’t avoid it properly. Instead, the ball hit his glove and went up in the air, where the wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim caught it easily.

In the end, Sri Lanka scored 257 runs in their 50 overs, which is a good score because the pitch helps both fast bowlers and spinners.
