Stray: How to get Outsiders’ Notebooks in Cyberpunk Cat Game?
Stray has various tasks that players will be doing while progressing through their journey of reuniting the cat with its family. Gamers will also be collecting a lot of items when completing those tasks as they control the feline protagonist in this underground urban dystopia.
The cat will be making a lot of trouble for the resident of the walled city when getting this collectible throughout the game. One of these collectibles is the Outsiders’ notebooks that will be necessary to advance through their game.
There are four notebooks, one from each of the outsiders that gamers will be coming across in their process of completing the game. Players have to pilot the cat in the different parts of the walled city in order to find them. The story will promote players to get back to Momo after getting all of these notebooks, whose hope of searching for the Outsiders will be restored.
Even though this task of searching for Outsiders Notebooks sounds simple it can be a little annoying. This post will be helping those who are still struggling to collect Outsider’s Notebook.
Collecting Outsiders’ Notebook in the Stray
As previously mentioned, gamers have to obtain four notebooks to progress through the main plot of the game. Hence the method for obtaining all these Outsiders’ Notebooks in the game is given below.
Momo’s Notebook
The first Outsiders’ Notebook that players will be obtaining is Momo’s notebook. This will be the easiest notebook to collect as it’s a part of the story. Players have to show the first memory, which is a picture of the beach, to Momo after they find him.
Players will obtain their first Outsider Notebook after finishing their conversation with the Momo.
Zbaltazar’s Notebook
Zbaltazar’s Notebook is available in the flat, which players can reach by getting on the highrise close to the Guardian. From there the cat needs to just climb past paint can throwing robots and reach to a neon Outsider sign.
Gamers have to unplug the power supply of the ventilation system on the left side of the neon sign using the cat. Players now have to get through the vent and take the drop down through the fan which will let them enter the apartment.
Reaching inside the apartment now, the cat has to jump at the top of the boxes piled near the portraits of the robot and knock all the boxes to the ground. Players just need these boxes and they will automatically open and let players collect their second Outsiders’ notebook.
Doc’s Notebook
The third Outsiders Notebook that players will be obtained in the walled city is the Doc notebook. Doc is one the most important outsider as he will be providing players the Deflouxor, a weapon that can kill annoying Zurks. Players can obtain Doc’s notebook in the library above the Slums.
To get to the library, players will be needing to climb past the alleyway that has robots throwing paint cans. Players will be jumping across the gap to make their way to the small balcony with a blue Outsider sign after moving beyond the couch with the TV at the back of the alley. Now players can easily make their way to the doorway and get inside the building with a lot of books.
Turning on the lights, players will find a giant stack of books that they need to hop over and find a side room, turning right in that room will let players get a note that requires to be translated, and deciphering that note will players a key.
Getting back to the room that is full of books, Players have to knock the various tall heap of books on the aisle. A safe will be revealed that players can unlock with the key they obtained and collect the Doc’s notebook.
Clementine’s Notebook
The last notebook that players will be obtaining is located above the vending machine, where they encounter Teddy. To get to the location of the notebook, players will require to climb the roof and jump through the window with a glowing orange lantern with a circular symbol. Then the player needs to get through the wooden door which will lead them to broken glass. After turning left from there they will need to get to the next room.
Inside the room on the desk player will find the fourth notebook with a formula to correct the transceiver. That will be helpful in unlocking Chapter 5. Now gamers have to control the cat and get back to Momo. There they can restore the hope of the robot and receive the transceiver.
