Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi will make their PNC Championship debut in 2023.
The lineup for the 2023 PNC Championship has been unveiled, and it is filled with skill and potential. While regulars like John Daly and Tiger Woods will return this year, Steve Stricker will make his tournament debut alongside his daughter, Izzi Stricker.
Izzi Stricker has followed in her father’s footsteps and is already a talented golfer. She just defended her solo Championship at the Wisconsin Girls State Championship. She also guided her team to second place. She told SBNation about her experience at the tournament:
“Right now, all I can think about is my team; I want to assist all five of us in bringing that big, gold trophy home.” I’m disappointed right now. But, as an individual, I’m rather pleased with myself. “Right now, the last three holes are a little difficult for me.”
Steve Stricker has also had an outstanding Champions Tour season this year. He served as vice-captain of the United States Ryder Cup team in 2023. During the 2023 season, he won six races and won the Charles Schwab Cup.
