Steps to Get the Sentinel Ship in No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky has recently introduced the Sentinel Interceptor Starship to the game, adding to the variety of freighters players can acquire for their fleet. If you’re looking to add the Sentinel Ship to your collection, follow these steps.
Step 1: Find a Dissonant Planet
To begin your search for the Sentinel Ship, head to the Galaxy Map and look for a Dissonant Planet. This planet can be identified by the word “Dissonant” in its description.
Step 2: Scan Planets and Locate Dead Planet
Once you arrive at the Dissonant Planet, scan the different planets in the system. Your goal is to locate a Dead Planet with Corrupted Sentinels.
Step 3: Collect Resources
Collect resources on the Dead Planet, such as Di-Hydrogen crystals, Atlantideum, and other unknown minerals. You’ll also need to collect a Gravitino Ball, which can trigger the arrival of Sentinel enemies.
Step 4: Defeat Five Waves of Sentinels
As soon as you pick up the Gravitino Ball, five waves of Sentinels will appear. Defeat them to progress towards obtaining the Sentinel Ship. Remember to collect the resources dropped by the defeated Sentinels.
Step 5: Find the Dissonance Spike
You’ll be informed that a Dissonance Spike has been spotted with a location after you’ve conquered all five waves. If you receive a “Nothing Found” message, travel to another Dead Planet and repeat the process.
Step 6: Repair the Sentinel Ship
Once you’ve found the location of the Sentinel Ship, you’ll need to complete the Salvage Operations missions to repair it. The technology of the ship will be critically damaged, and you’ll need to find resources such as Radiant Shards, Inverted Mirrors, and Harmonic Brains to repair it.
Step 7: Claim Your New Ship
After you’ve repaired the technology, the Sentinel Ship is now yours to claim and add to your fleet.
