Stephen A. Smith’s Unique Idea for First Take Location
For many years, ESPN’s popular talk show, First Take, has traveled around the country for its live broadcasts. But one place it hasn’t been to yet is the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Stephen A. Smith, the show’s host, has a special plan for a future episode.
Smith wants to take First Take to the AT&T Stadium parking lot, where Cowboys fans gather before games. It’s a different idea that could make the show even more interesting.
However, there’s a catch. Smith, who isn’t the biggest fan of the Cowboys, wants to do this when he thinks they might lose. He said, “It’s gotta be a game I think they’re gonna lose. They can’t be playing against the Jets with Zach Wilson.”

Smith’s colleague, Marcus Spears, who used to play for the Cowboys, pointed out that the Cowboys are expected to do well in every game this season. So, Smith’s dream might not happen in 2023.
Right now, the Cowboys are doing great. They’ve won two games in a row against the New York Giants and the New York Jets. In Week 3, they’re playing the Arizona Cardinals, which might not be a big challenge. Then, in Week 4, they’re playing the New England Patriots at home.
The real test for the Cowboys might come in Week 5 when they play the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
