Stephen A. Smith Asks NFL To Give Colin Kaepernick Chance To Play
Stephen A. Smith came in to support Colin Kaepernick and asked the NFL franchise to give him a chance at least.
Colin Kaepernick has constantly tried to reach out to the Jets for a quarterback situation. But Kaepernick all efforts went in vain when the news came out about Trevor Siemian being signed by the Jets.
Only Jemele Hill came in support of Colin Kaepernick and backed him up in front of the NFL community. Until now, looks like their voice has reached out to ESPN’s sports analyst Stephen A. Smith.
In a recent episode of “First Take” Smith expressed his opinion on Kaepernick.
Smith said, “It’s not going to happen. We have to stop all of this noise and we have to address it with the realness that it deserves. I’d love to see him back in the NFL. I believe he deserves an opportunity to be back in the NFL. I believe he was blackballed unfairly. I think it’s a damn disgrace and a crime that he has been kept out of the NFL this long.”

According to Smith, to any athlete it’s unfair to keep him off the field, Kaepernick should deserve a chance. Kaepernick revealed that his agent reached out to the Jets official.
Update: The #Jets are not pursuing free-agent Colin Kaepernick for their QB room, per @JosinaAnderson

Josina adds the team is expected to narrow down their options at the position later today.https://t.co/ldPLilo4vC pic.twitter.com/2qHEZRdWYP
Colin himself wrote a long description letter to the Jets about giving him a chance on their current quarterback situation amid Aaron Rodgers’ injury.
The New York Jets ignored his requests and chose Trevor Siemian instead. Kaepernick was blackballed by the NFL franchises in 2016 and didn’t get a chance to play in the NFL.
That sounds a bit unfair.
Will Colin Kaepernick get a chance this year or not?
