Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin On Fights During Practice At Training Camp
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is happy that there is no fighting at his Saint Vincent College training camp. It’s been quite out there in Steelers training camp and coach Tomlin likes the peace very much.
He is happy that players are putting together cause it will do no such good thing, especially winning. On Thursday Tomlin said via ESPN reporter Brooke Pryor, that fights on the field don’t help win games when they start mattering.
Tomlin said, “We appreciate tough guys, but this isn’t an MMA team we’re putting together. Fights don’t help us win football games.”

Fight at practice will do no harm but in the regular season, it will lead to 15-yard penalties on either side of the ball. The penalty will always go worse from getting ejected to suspension, or worse.
Steelers’ is set to wrap up at the end of this week at Saint Vincent College and get ready to play their second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.
Steelers will do the rest of the practices at their facility down on the South Side. Pittsburgh Steelers Vs Buffalo Bills will be at 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
