Statement Issues from Jimmie Johnson amid Nephew, In-Laws Killed In Apparent

A tragedy happened to a famous NASCAR driver, Jimmie Johnson’s Nephew, and the parents of his wife. They were found dead in Apparent and it’s still unclear if it’s a murder or a suicide.

Following that, Johnson also issued a statement on Friday about the devastating death of his relatives. In late June, it was reported that the parents of his wife, Chandra Janway, lost her parents, Jack and Terry Janway, and her 11-year-old nephew, Dalton Janway. They were found dead in an apparent.

Johnson’s family is heartbroken over this moment and has been dealing with a tough time. But still, the longtime driver wants to show his fans how much his family members support him and how much they love each other.

“Our family is devastated by the profound loss of Lynn, Jack, and Dalton Janway,” Johnson said. “We have been humbled by the outpouring of love and support during this unthinkably sad time and remain grateful for all of your compassion.”

Johnson and his wife tied the know in 2004 and have two daughters with her. One’s name is Genevieve and the other one is Lydia.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Johnson family.
