Sons Of the Coach Deion Sanders’ Paid Tribute To Their Dad With Cleat Choice

College Football season has just started and under the guidance of one of the most famous coaches Deion Sanders, Colorado began with a remarkable 45-42 win over TCU showcasing some throwback cleats in the process.

To thank him and show their gratitude, Buffaloe players including quarterback and Snaders sons Shedeur Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders wore Nike DT 96 Cleat PEs reminiscent of the style the head coach wore during his decorated NFL career.

Coach Prime showed off two pairs of shoes on social media two weeks ago. These shoes had a famous quote from the Hall of Fame defensive back written on the bottom.

“If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.”

The Buffaloes are really happy with how they played on Saturday.

Shedeur, who came to Colorado with his dad from Jackson State, did an amazing job in his first game for the school. He threw for 510 yards, which is a Colorado record, and made four touchdowns. Shilo, who’s a senior, made the most solo tackles on the team, nine in total.

The Sanders family took over a team that only won one game last year. In Week 1, they were expected to lose by three touchdowns to a team that played in the National Championship Game last year. Some people were unsure if Coach Prime was more about style than being a good coach, but he quickly turned Colorado into one of the most exciting teams in college football.

The Buffaloes want to keep playing well as they get ready to host the Nebraska Cornhuskers, coached by Matt Rhule, in Sanders’ first home game as coach. The big game is on Saturday at noon ET on FOX.
