Sonic The Hedgehog Game and Movie Series Overview
Sonic The Hedgehog is a Japanese video game developed by Saga in 1991. The game recently completed 3 decades but it is still one of the most popular games in the category of hedgehog animated games. Sonic’s character inspired Paramount Pictures to create a movie of the same name (available on Netflix). There are other versions of this game available like Sonic Frontiers and the movie has a sequel that was released last year (i.e., 2022) and the next sequel i.e, part 3 of the movie is scheduled to be released in 2024.
In the game, the user plays the character of Sonic the Hedgehog and runs from Dr. Robotnic (who used to catch animals and turn them into robots). During the run, Sonic collects ring-shaped health. It is quite simple to play as it doesn’t have many control buttons. You just have to jump and run using the keys.

The concept of sonic is actually more than three and a half decades old as the concept was first visualized in part 1 of the game in 1991. And, sonic’s character is usually portrayed as a teenager in most games and movies anywhere between 10 and 18 years old (mostly 16).
Remember he is an animated fictional character. That’s why Sega can keep portraying him as a 16 years old teen. Otherwise, he would have become a 45-plus middle-aged Hedgehog.
